Activities Sunrise Special Departure approximately 2 hours before sunrise. Transportation up to Haleakala Summit, view crater, guided van tour (1-1 1/2 hours) of the park. Stage at 6500 feet, just outside park entrance. We furnish Gary Fisher mountain bike, helmet backpack, rain/wind gear, gloves and map with points of interest. Self guided bike ride down the mountain back to store in Haiku. Return by 4 PM Take Away - Lemond Road Race Bike Package No transportation. come to our bike shop and we'll install a bike rack on your rental car. We furnish Lemond Road Race Bike, helmet, rain/wind gear, gloves, back pack, lock, emergency tool kit, and a map of marked trails. Equipment must be returned by 4 PM the following day. Store hours 9 AM - 4 PM daily. Summit Deluxe The Summit Deluxe leaves our store at 9:00am and takes you to Haleakala's 10,023' summit for a view of the crater and a narrated tour of Haleakala National Park, which includes the summit, crater, and visitor center. We stage at 6500' where you ride at your own pace back down to the store. Transportation to and from your hotel is provided if requested. Haleakala National Park Upcountry Tour -- SUNRISE The Sunrise Van Tour offers an exclusive van tour which allows you to visit Haleakala National Park, watch the sunrise from the summit, view Haleakala Crater, and tour beautiful upcountry Maui. Also great for those who may have family members that are doing the bike ride, but in conjunction would rather enjoy a van tour of Upcountry Maui instead of biking themselves. You have the chance to experience the Haleakala Sunrise and tour the beautiful area we call upcountry while your family enjoys their self-guided bike ride.
